29th September marks the FAO's sixth annual International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste (IDAFLW).
With an estimated 13% of food (or 1.25 billion tonnes) lost globally after harvest and prior to reaching retail shelves in 2021, mitigating this loss is a vital research area. Here are some recent articles in this field which have caught our eye:
