If you use a generative AI tool in your project, keep a detailed research log of any prompts, outputs, or content you incorporate, just as you would document database searches or cited sources. This ensures transparency and provides a clear record should questions about originality arise later.
Be sure to review your institution’s policies on plagiarism and academic integrity for specific guidance. Where AI use is permitted, follow any requirements carefully: seek permission if needed, use tools within approved limits, and always acknowledge their contribution appropriately.
